Saturday, 24 August will be a giant day in the history of
rock. howie&scott has joined forces with the always venerable ARTURO GOT THE SHAFT to test your (and our) endurance for rock. THREE SHOWS are scheduled for Saturday, with h&s and the Shaft splitting each set. 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Lincoln, NE - Solid Ground, 14th & "O".. w/ ARTURO GOT THE SHAFT 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Lincoln, NE - UNL Union Ballroom (downtown on "R" st) "What Game?" event. w/ ARTURO GOT THE SHAFT at 6:30 and 2 other bands 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. Lincoln, NE - Solid Ground, 14th & "O". 8-10 p.m. w/ ARTURO GOT THE SHAFT So come on down to Lincoln for some music. If you're going to the game, or watching on TV, visit the Solid Ground in the afternoon. If you're a UNL student or just have some time on your hands, come up to the Union Ballroom. And if rocking the dusty crater (thanks Rob) at 14th & "O" streets strikes you as better than watching the Huskers clobber somebody (who is it anyway?) hit the Solid Ground at 8.
